Privacy Policy

Wyrmhold is made by Arkynate. It is not made by Reddit. Questions go to games@arkynate.com.

Today Wyrmhold runs only on Reddit. It is a game app on Reddit's Developer Platform (Devvit), played inside Reddit posts, and you need a Reddit account to play. Each subreddit that installs it is its own "Hold", and game data is kept separately for each Hold.

If Wyrmhold is released as a mobile app, this policy will be updated before release to describe it.

What we collect

• Your Reddit user id and username.
• Your game progress: Warden level, gear, runes, builds, settings, scores, party membership and purchase records.
• Aggregate gameplay counters. We don't build personal profiles.

We don't collect your email address or any payment data, and we don't track you across sites. Reddit Gold purchases go through Reddit's payment system; Arkynate never sees your payment details.

Why we use it

To run the game: to know which progress, items and purchases are yours, to show scores and parties to the players of a Hold, and to keep items you bought with your account. Aggregate counters show how the game is played as a whole, not what any one person does.

Where it's kept and for how long

Game data is stored per subreddit, in Reddit's Devvit storage for the app. We keep it while the game is running in that Hold, until one of these happens:

• the game post it belongs to is deleted — its game data is removed;
• you ask us to delete your game data — we remove it from every Hold;
• we remove an abusive player's game data under the Terms.

Deleting your Reddit account does not yet delete your game data automatically. Until it does, email us and we'll remove it.

Who we share it with

Reddit only, as the platform that hosts the game and its storage, and as the payment processor for Reddit Gold. We don't sell your data or share it with anyone else.

Comments you choose to post

"Share my Clash" and party calls post a comment as you, only when you tap them. Those are public Reddit comments under your account.

Wyrmhold is not directed at children under 13.

You can ask for a copy of your game data, or for it to be deleted, by emailing games@arkynate.com. Include your Reddit username so we can find it. A deletion removes your game data from every Hold.

Game data is held in Reddit's Devvit storage, under Reddit's platform security. We never receive payment details or email addresses, so we don't hold them. If you think something is wrong, email us.

We may update this policy. When we do, the "Last updated" date above changes.
